Twin Cities, Minnesota · A CM Ventures Company
IT&HR Ventures builds and delivers workforce training, and the HR reporting that sits behind it. Two practices, one vantage point: the employer's side of the hiring process, not the outside looking in.
Most career advice is written by people who have never seen the other side of the screen.
Our facilitators work inside the human resources systems that receive, parse and rank job applications. That is the difference between telling someone to "tailor their resume" and showing them exactly what a recruiter's search returns — and why theirs was not in it.
The same expertise runs the consulting practice: the reporting, dashboards and data audits that let an HR team see its own workforce clearly.
Two practices
Evidence-based career sessions for job seekers, career changers and students — delivered to community colleges, public libraries, workforce programs and training academies.
Workday reporting and HR data work for employers who need to see their workforce clearly and act on what they find.
Flagship workshop
One hour. What actually gets a candidate hired in 2026, and what is folklore. Every figure is sourced to current federal or industry research, and every myth it retires is one your participants are almost certainly still acting on.

The thing everyone gets wrong
It is not a robot that rejects three-quarters of applicants. It parses a resume into structured fields and lets a recruiter search them. Nothing is auto-rejected; things are simply never surfaced.
We teach candidates to write for that parse — and for the six seconds of human attention that follows it. That single correction changes more outcomes than any other hour we spend.
Formats and fees
Delivered in person across the Twin Cities metro, or over Zoom, Teams or Webex. Evening and weekend slots available, and content can be tailored to a specific field.
| Engagement | What is included | Fee |
|---|---|---|
| Standard session | Sixty minutes: a 45-minute presentation with two live audience polls, then 15 minutes of open questions. Slides and a printed Career Cheat Sheet provided for distribution. | $350 |
| Extended session | Ninety minutes: everything above, plus live resume review — participants bring their own and volunteers are marked up on screen. | $500 |
| Cohort partnership | Three sessions across one program year, with the labor-market data refreshed before each delivery. | $900 |
Practice two
Employers collect enormous amounts of workforce data and see very little of it. We build the reporting that closes that gap — in Workday, for HR teams and the business leaders who depend on them.
Engagements are scoped individually, from a single stubborn report to a full audit of a reporting estate that has grown without a plan.
Resume review
Workshop participants and clients can upload a resume here. It goes straight to us — not to a job board, and not into an applicant pool. We read it the way a recruiter and a parser would, then come back to you.
